Associated Dental Specialists (ADS) organised the Single Piece Dental Implantology Workshop in association with the Kerala Chapter of the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India (AOMSI).

The short lectures on Single Piece Implantology were conducted by Dr Antonina Ihde, Germany, Dr Prem Nanda, MDS, FICOI, Pune and Dr Prasanth Pillai, MDS, FICD, Kochi. The surgery sessions lead by Prof. Dr Stefan Ihde, in which 5 patients were operated on. The surgery sessions are being carried out under conscious sedation, and The implants used were all single piece implants - the KOS (King of Single Piece), BCS (Bi Cortical Screw) and the BOI / TOI (Basal / Transosseous Osseointegration Implants).
